| Parked in lay-by on main road to NW, along lane to track that crosses a stream and enters woods to west of top. Headed on tracks up hill as far as pheasant pen, up steep,y to another track and headed up yet another track that leads to compound at top. | This is in the grounds of Stanage Hall so is probably on private land. There are paths on the OS map. They are fairly indistinct on the map but I managed to follow them to near the top.
