Parked on the road at 12528 41459 opposite a short path to the summit. Probably a nice view but drizzly today.clivevilla02/02/2024
Parked in the picnic site and walked up through the field opposite to be met with barbed wire. The found the correct way up from the layby. Great views all roundekm08/08/2021
Short walk from picnic site car park.CreakingHiker10/10/2020
Highly atmospheric. We arrived at the barrow to be greeted by a complete sunset with the sun dropping over Strumble Head in one direction and a full moon appearing from behind the clouds in the other direction. I’m starting to understand the Druids. This was all accompanied by a horn sounding in the distance, or was it a bellowing cow?Campbell Singer18/02/2019
Our timing was so perfect. Setting sun with full moon just appearing. Memorable.Barbara Singer18/02/2019
Easy bag from roadside. Gorse and brambles reported by others have been cut down.milimana24/12/2018
Quick up and down from lay-by on B4582 in rather damp conditions. The view would no doubt have been good had I been able to see it.David Purchase03/09/2018
Three mounds(Tumulus?) all of similar height with easy access to their bases by path from road. Central one is the highest. Well blooded fighting through brambles to top of most SW one - a mistake in shorts. En route of 3day cycle from Newport to ShrewsburyRichardM23/09/2016
From nearby layby on B4582. HP probably the mound with the trig, but another to the SSW is close rival.jonglew13/05/2016
Handy layby and access path to trig then visited the other overgrown highpoints with Alex and Smudge.Dugswell212/09/2015
