Barbara and I were almost hit by a riderless spooked horse which charged down the track towards and past us. Otherwise, easy tracks/path to edge of woodland top. Learnt in cp later that horse had been recaptured and rider was uninjured. | Campbell Singer | 18/08/2018 |
Almost run over by a big black horse at full gallop. Fortunately nobody hurt. | Barbara Singer | 18/08/2018 |
Last top of the day for me and not too far back to the car park where I had left my car for the day. I luckily found the track that leads all the way to this top without having to go through too many trees. | Father Ted | 17/08/2018 |
Summit near to stone wall had a good walk around and some pleasant views, however on my old landranger(1986) the hill has twin summits and the other summit they give a reading of 361metres. Walked across to the other summit covered in dense tree cover and tough to walk around in. Got numerous readings and some were higher particular near a large bolder ST 04181 96146 however the GPS was very poor due to dense tree cover visited many other points and got a variety of readings best accessed from the viewpoint near the benchs.Took at least another ten readings to many to mention her of other points in the wood. However in the original summit got some higher readings above 360 metres. | hodder | 11/04/2017 |
