From Bwlch pleasant walk along forest boundary to convenient point where fence and stone wall can be crossed at SO 13949 21171 to enter forest. Plenty of bramble, fern and branches to negotiate on forest floor but not too difficult.jonglew17/08/2014
From Bwlch, good path to within 200yrds then push through trees, not too bad at this time of year.rhalstead23/11/2013

Parking at end of lane from Bwlch at SO 14660 21973. Good path along edge of forest. Over crumbled wall and ruined fence to trig pillar.David Gradwell26/10/2009
trig pillar in dense woodland took some time finding it impossible to decided if their was alternative high points due to the dense woodland.hodder08/10/2008
Completed an epic hill walking 21 miles from Bwlch to Llanbedr pub bagging Buckland Hill, Mynydd Llangorse, Mynydd Troed and Mynydd Llysiau. Didn't see anybody all day. Trig on Buckland Hill took a lot of finding in dense woodland.DanTrig23/07/2008
Pete and I organised ourselves with 2 cars and did a walk from Llangyndir to Cockit Hill (the pass btw Mynydd Troed and Llangorse Mountain) via this hill and Llangorse Mountain. Very low cloud in the morning, but it burned off to give a day that felt like summer until we looked over the golden glow on the bracken. This was the new part of our walk, a lovely traverse of Buckland Hill to Bwlch, and a bit of 'mindlessflogging' through dense larch looking for the summit (successfully in the end)pwheeler10/10/2005
