Good parking, and nice paths to summit woodland from E. Very exciting summit - compared to many around here.Minto07/07/2023
Parked to NW near 231 SH. Road, then ROW. Nice rocky summit: probably not one for standing on, but I did sit on it.PGCE05/03/2023
Parking at SO 50362 03683, Followed road and ROW to new summit.DC11main03/07/2022
From the east on good paths. A very fine rock summit with some exposure.fasgadh21/03/2022
A great little summit, huge vertical gritstone slab forming a rocky/bouldery edge in woodland.RichardM21/01/2022
Returned to visit relocated summit. Parked at SO503036, walked a short distance S along road then followed RoW onto summit ridge.Tony J06/12/2020
Short walk from car park to NE.rhalstead26/01/2019
As clivevilla. Delightful mature woodland tracks. Accosted by two white retrievers who were in doggy heaven.Campbell Singer20/01/2019
From car park to the NE. The track goes south before swinging round to head west. Dived off in to the woodland when I was north of the summit. A few brambles but not too bad or for too far.clivevilla01/11/2018
From car park following forest tracks.Ramblingpaul18/07/2018

From car park to NE, first along forest track then along FPs to HP by wall adjoining field.PeterD09/09/2017
From the CP. Obvious forest track and then a left turn up to the summit near a junction in the paths. Highest point possibly close to wall. Slightly different route back following the path heading east next to the wall.Herbert Anchovy18/04/2017
As per RHW. Paths well signed all the way. Felling to NE.arranc09/11/2016
From car park to NE. Good path all the way. A flat top so unable to say where the HP is. Path seems to be as high as anywhere. Walked across to a rise in field to SE, looked a contender but GPS gave 3m lower elevation. Top of the wall is actually the highest point. ***Revisited 26 Sep 2020 for the relocated summit. Parked roadside at SO 5037 0368. S on road to RoW which led easily to a nice ridge with some scary rocks. Stood on highest one for a GR and very gingerly backed off to safe ground.jonglew20/10/2016
From ne, car park, pathsRHW31/10/2015
From Beacon Hill on forest tracks. Summit area very flat so had a good walk around and stood on top of the wall to be sure. UPDATE: unticked on this date as summit relocated a considerable distance, see revisit log 06/12/2020.Tony J30/06/2015
