Foot paths from the W. Paintball halted to allow us through the battle field unscathed(PRoW - all very friendly). Summit field of sheep pasture with sheep and trig pillar. Return via Castell Coch reminiscent of a Baltic country castle.RichardM05/12/2021

Last hill of any kind in Cardiff! Parked at Hotel to SW and up through woods. Lots of traffic noise there, but nice and calm on summit. Rainbow visible to North on descent.huwthomas06/10/2020
Parked on the road to the east at 14698 82755, up the drive to Rhiwbina Farm then diagonally up a pasture and one bwf to trig.clivevilla29/08/2020
After walking along the Taff Trail from Cardiff City Centre to Tongwynlais, up through the woodland on the footpath leading off Greenmeadow Drive, then through the fields to Rhiwbena Farm, where I met the friendly farmer and his dog, and walked up to the trig point with them.Mariana Trench01/09/2019
Trigged Tump... The purple drink sounding name of the trig is a much more delicious name than the Woodhill boring one here on hill - baggingvegibagger23/07/2019
1/2 After work. Parked in layby just down from Rhiwbina farm, little walk through forest (looks like a paintball area is being built or something) then on to high point and trigpenbet19/06/2019
As per Campbell . Noisy sheep with their lambsMark Sims21/02/2019
Bagged as part of 10k morning run - very muddy, approached from footpath to the south.kasharic21/02/2018
Parked in Tongwynlais in housing estate by the Golf Course and followed footpaths through the farm to the trig. One gate we had to climb on route but very friendly farmer. Nice view of Castell Coch poking out through the trees on the walk back down, otherwise not a particularly exciting hillWackywelshy22/09/2017
A 6.5 mile circular walk from Castell Coch through Tongwynlais, Greenmeadow Wood, Coed y Wenallt, Forestganol and Fforest Fawr. Lovely walk and good views to the north. With Keith and wee Ross.islamidget20/07/2017

Through Rhiwbina farm and up to Trig point from FP. Trees obscure views of CardiffPeterD02/08/2015
Plenty of mud on track up through Rhiwbina FarmGordonAdshead08/03/2015
Its been on my list to do for a while this one but for some reason never got around to it, maybe becasue I thought it was a difficult one. In practice, the footpath goes through the same field that the trig is in, just the other end of it. Nice views north.Father Ted17/08/2008
