From end of the Harthope Valley road, masses of parking. Permissive track (on access land?) up to Housey Crags first, as it looked nice, then across to the multi-topped Langlee Crags. Visited the 2 prominent tors, plus 4 more rocky knolls. The 2 to the SE gave highest elevation reading on the GPS, both the same at 424.4m. | jonglew | 24/03/2024 |

The Cheviot Group from Langleeford. A clockwise route around the dale head. Nice and dry peat underfoot, but still a big and tiring round, especially due to the bash through the heather out and back to new top for me, Great Standrop. The remainder all being revisits, Langlee Crags, Hedgehope Hill, Comb Fell, Cairn Hill, Cairn Hill West Top, Auchope Cairn, and finally back over the flagstones to The Cheviot. Windy but warm in the sun. 24km with 1300m ascent, taking me 7h 40m. | silverwolf_alan | 27/05/2023 |
Dod hill and langlee crags from south middleton biked up the track to near the top, visited all the areas | robertphillips | 19/02/2023 |

5/6 Plenty of parking at Langleeford. Over bridge, up footpath, along cart track, then up small track thru grass to summit. Scrambled up both tors and visited high ground to SE, as unsure of HP. Good views. A round trip of 4.2km with 260m ascent in just over an hour. | silveracorn_alan | 11/05/2022 |

With Jo, circular walk from Langleeford. Paths/tracks to Langlee Crags, then moorland walk to Dod Hill. Returned via Threestoneburn Stone Circle, Housey Crags and Long Crags. Weather; sunny, warm, good visibility. | amblerbob | 29/06/2021 |
Langleeford (ample parking) > Cheviot > Comb Fell > Hedgehope > Langlee Crags > Langleeford. Swamp fest in the dip between Cheviot and Comb Fell so might be best attempted after a period of dry weather (unless you're into that sort of thing). | JohnR | 14/09/2020 |

P Langleeford road end, visited all the rocky bits but the top is less entertaining. On to Hedgehope Hill, with Alexander. | agentmancuso | 10/04/2019 |

Parked at Langlee and followed RoW up onto hillside, then picked up track leading NE until under the hill. Initially thought the HP would be on one of the two rocky tors but upon reflection it is probably of the smaller rocky outcrops further SE. | Wheelsy | 03/01/2019 |

From Langleeford. Cracking hill, with two prominent scrambly tors, but high point could be one of five rocky outcrops behind, which all gave same height reading on my GPS. By eye I would favour NT 96762 22027, but survey needed to be certain. | Crib Goch | 16/07/2016 |
Langlee Crags and Dod Hill from car park at public road end near Langleeford. Two fine rocky tors plus two (probably) slightly higher rocky knolls to SE. Then moorland walk passing Middleton Crags to Dod Hill. | Aye Jimmy | 14/07/2016 |

Parking just before the end of the public road to Langleeford. Follow the footpath south and uphill until it crosses a broad vehicular track. Turn left along this to just north of the summit then a short heather bash. Under 1 hr. return. | moorsman | 30/07/2015 |
Langlee Crags, Hedgehope Hill, Comb Fell, Cairn Hill, Hangingstone Hill and Auchope Cairn before returning via the Harthope Burn. | Dugswell2 | 02/09/2014 |

On round including Cold Law & other local crags. With Issy & Jay. | Ade | 23/03/2014 |
A nice traverse around the Crags on both sides of the valley. Not as sunny as forecast but enjoyable in the wind nevertheless. Didn't see anyone all day. | Walker Dan | 10/11/2013 |
Day 1 of a three day wildcamping walk from Wooler to Hownam. Walked up from Wooler via Brands Hill. Easy track to Cook Dickson then a tough heather thrash to the top. Had beautiful views of Hedgehope Hill and the Cheviot. Continued on to Long Crags before pitching the tent for the night. | Jake994 | 08/08/2012 |
