From Wedder Leap car park. Middle Hill, The Middle,Ward Law,Little Ward Law(Why not) then up to Windy Gyle and along The Penine Way to Windy Rig and Mozie Law. Descended over Mozie Law south top. A path leads down the shoulder to Carlcroft Hope where another traverses above the wood to the east finally rising to join The Street. Continued over Swineside Law, then Hindside Knowe(looked and felt like a tump) before descending back to Wedder Law CP.mart079703/07/2019
We took the track from Shillmoor over Copper Snout to Saughgy Hill, then a 4x4 track on to Nettlehope Hill, before joining a forestry track heading north through recently felled and newly planted plantation - popping out just shy of Yarnspath Law (heavy heather until reaching a fence line with side path). Westwards and over the Usway burn by a footbridge just north of height 345. Return route was along good tracks, taking in The Middle, Kyloe Shin (great name), Shillhope Law, and Inner Hill. Gentle decline back to the start. Lovely walk, 4 hrs.summitter24/05/2019
13.4 mile walk from Wedder Leap car park, Coquetdale, followed road briefly then up onto Hindside Knowe (25m prominence) and along ridge to Swineside Law, passed goats up onto the Pennine Way, out to Mozie Law and Beefstand Hill and back, then onto Windy Rig and Windy Gyle, headed south missing Ward Law down and up onto The Middle and Middle Hill (nearly completely cleared of trees), then along to Kyloe Shin with a final pull up to Shillhope Law then steep descent back to car park. Clear and sunny all day but cold and very windy. Saw a few people all day mainly on Windy Gyle.DanTrig05/11/2017
