An easy Tump, car park and paths all in evidence. The high point, in a flat area and covered in trees, isn't at all obvious.Colin Crawford19/11/2023
My 5000 summit on Hill Bagging. Appropriately it involved following the main track (in wellies and under a golf umbrella) until taking a lesser path to the summit, which as Robert Frost famously wrote:' Two paths in a wood diverged, and I - I took the one less travelled by. And that has made all the difference'. Looking back to when I climbed my first hill - Moel Famau in 1979 it set my future life interest in hills... and that has made all the difference.Chris Pearson24/10/2023
Parked to the East in carpark NY497484, with J.David Evans28/04/2023
Dedicated forestry parking area due east of the summit (at the entrance to the wood). Good, clear forest track until due north of the summit then turn into the trees to find it. A doddle.moorsman04/08/2022

At car park to edge of woodland and short walk along the track and turn off left into trees to work out grid reference location. Pleasant on a hot day.nickywood117/07/2021
From the CP track then into the trees.robertphillips07/10/2020
Ran from caravan site up through the woods. Followed wide track then a narrow footpath which looked like it went over the ‘summit’ but really difficult to be sure of the HPmadaddo10/08/2020
From CP no definite top.chrisbien18/07/2020
From car park. Forestry work nearby but no difficulties wandering about the young birch trees on the big flat summit. Even a wee bit of snow on the bracken.fasgadh19/02/2020

From Forestry Commission car park, very popular with dog-walkers. Took readings but no definite highest points determined.Aye Jimmy25/10/2015
