| Took bus from Castlebay to the Cleat junction then walked up road to the beach. A very short scramble up the rocks from the far end of the beach to an obvious cliff-top path takes you round the crags to an easy direct grassy ascent to the summit from by a circular rocky ruin. | A bus walk from Cleit road end. Up to the high point of the road, and over a gate just past the house. Over the BWF at a ruined stile, then up a nice gully N of the summit. A little animal track to the fine rocky summit. Splendid views. Down the SW ridge to the road just W of the quarry. | Parked near cattle grid on the community road to the west of this hill. Climbed and back in 45 mins or so. Then drove down to the beach and took smashing photos of the hill. | A solo rapid ascent before the highlight of our trip - the BA flight back to Glasgow on the small Islander plane from the beach runway which only appeared once the tide went out. Our bikes were dismantled and squeezed in as cargo.
