Over stile at top of Hexham Road, amble up the field; or it would have been an amble if there hadn't been a gale blowing. Very battered trig but the ground around seems marginally higher.Aye Jimmy24/12/2014

Eyed this one a many times while travelling up the West Coast Main Line so scheduled an extra 2 hours while on a visit to Lancaster to have a nosy up it. A short walk from Bare Lane train station and an amicable enough hill. Quite a few dog walkers about.Jake99408/03/2014

Poor trig! One rarely sees one in such bad condition. Walked from a friend's house in Morcambe and then onto Hesk Bank along the canal for a nice couple of pints in the hesk Bank pub before returning along the promonade.Father Ted30/06/2006
