Landed at NA15770 05288. Misty and steep slopes to ridge and summit. Thanks Rick.Martin R17/09/2015
With Rick, Jen and Martin. Approached along ridge from North. Two metre grassy gully up to Summit GR recorded as NA1536405349.richtea504017/09/2015
With Jenx, Martin R and Richard T. Still a plus 1.5m swell, so usual landing out. Circled island and stacs and into Eastern side, took landing to north of usual guano corner. Spikes landed us well. Mist from 100m upwards so climbed steep grass trending to left then right over small ridge to eventually gain ridge. Contoured off on East face southwards to reach shallow gully leading up under final top. Back same way, microspikes great on the steep grass. Used a belay to drop down to shore line, swell now +2.5 m! All pretty much crashed into tender getting off but recovered ok and dry.nordicstar17/09/2015
Calm landing then up a rocky ramp to eventually gain the steep grassy slopes then an uneventful trip to the summit.Dugswell219/09/2014
With a large Marhofn gang. The rocky ramp provided an elegant route up onto the grass.Chris Peart19/09/2014

Winter trip. landed E side at about NA 15814 05320. Easy ascent in dry conditions but slippery in winter, we used a rope for descent.RHW23/11/2013
after north and west circuit of Boreray in the boat to take a close look at the stacs, we landed somewhat precariously on the steep eastern side. very grateful for loan of microspikes by Rob Woodall. Fearsomely steep grass and highly airy summit ridge that had me on my hands and knees for comfort at one stage in a way that I'd never have needed 25 years back with lower weight and steadier legs. What a spectacular bag and looking down in the sunshine in Stac an Armin and Stac Lee. What a treat.vegibagger23/11/2013
Landed but conditions not suitable for ascent with no lead climberschriswatson28/09/2013
With the Marhofn group organised by Brent. Brilliant weather. Up from SW after slimy slab after landing. Terraced short grass otherwise but that steep that an ice-axe wouldn't go amiss.Eddie13/09/2009
Superb, with Ian Teasdale, Mclellans, ColinC, RJW, AlanH, GeorgeM - see separate report. No bird issues but need NTS permission for boatman to land you RHW12/04/2009
