Knock Pike and Flagdaw on morning run from cottage in Knock. Started on track at back of cottage, onto path that heads north from the village to the east of Knock Pike and then straight up through bracken and grass. On to Flagdaw and then back on road. 6.67 km.Herbert Anchovy13/08/2023

Knock Pike > Flagdaw from GR: NY 68546 28797. Abandoned Burney Hill as unable to cross stream at Knock Ore Gillronaldo33313/11/2021
From Knock, up road then rough grass.HP unmarked but west side of wall though all levelish. Dramatic skies.Denise 12/11/2021
From end of public road, continue until NW of summit, field gate and improved pasture to vague high point. As the bulging DSW looks as though it won't stand a crossing we content ourselves with ground on its SW side.RichardM12/11/2021

Knock Pike, Flagdaw and Burney Hill from Knock, and walk back to Dufton. Freezing conditions and snow with sun and easterly wind. With Bryher.jenx10/02/2021
From the Dun fells. A relief to be descending on the road, back to the wind. Quick detour from road. Good walk to appreciate the bulk of Cross Fell and the general scale of the Pennines. Enjoyed the view west, as ever, but disappointed as the forecast promised better weather than we got. Pleasant walk through tranquil, breezy Eden on the return to Milburn. 6 hours.Wycombe Wanderer26/09/2020
Ascended from the path to the east, having descended from Knock Fell. Went on to Burney Hill.JohnW28/07/2020
3/4 From Dufton, Dufton Pike from the East, then down west, cut back underneath to north of hill to Climb Brownber Hill also from South East Corner. Then contoured round West to climb Flagdaw and home over Knock Pike and back on Wainwright's Pennine Journey footpath. A buzzard glanced off my hair!! What a whoosh!nickywood108/07/2020

From 685288 - up radar road to 706300 then cut across moorland to Knock Pike - reasonably dry for the time of year! On to Great/Little Dun Fell and Cross Fell and back the same way, picking up Flagdaw on the way pastthe_adam29/04/2017
With Evan, Coel & Alfie. Not Access Land. Went through gate with a quick run to the summit. Carried on around the hill for a pleasant walk and realised the south side of the hill is unfenced!Dangerous Dave19/02/2017

Parked at the first gate just before the 430m contour on the radar road & went anticlockwise round 3 tumps. Looked like wall trouble from Knock Hill, so came back up road to gate.agentmancuso13/10/2015
Although there is a notice at the end of the public road saying vehicular access is prohibited beyond this point, access is permitted for another mile as far the parking area. parking possible opposite the gate giving access to Flagdaw from where it is an easy walk.moorsman30/09/2015
