With Rick, Jen and Martin; summit recorded at GR NA 0625901617. September 18 seems to be a popular date for this island.richtea504018/09/2015
Landed on Soay island near Stac Dona. Did not proceed up initial pitch. Only my trekking poles summited.Viewfinder18/09/2015
With Jenx, Martin R and Richard T, landed usual nose of Soay SE, 1m swell but microspikes great grip. I lead the slag, one peg for surety but not really needed, excellent gabbro. Up to right of ridge then cut back through to open steep grass and a zig zag right-left to top steepening. Through a water line to summit plateau. Amazing place.nordicstar18/09/2015
Second island top on a misty day with Pete Ellis doing the calm lead climbing assisted by Dave Tyson and Alan Whatley. Once the slippy bits were out of the way it was just a rocky scramble then out onto a grassy ledge before upward and onward to the top.Dugswell218/09/2014
With a large Marhofn gang. It was good to have a top rope on the greasy climb - thanks Pete!Chris Peart18/09/2014

several landing poiints, we used the trad one, v greasy start as swell was high prev day; pitch a harddish scramble normally. Then bouldery, then airy traverse, then v steep grass. Flattish summit but v impressive drop-off to N. Cloud in and out, great views. 13 of us in 2 boatloads; Ken Whyte, Alan Holmes & I now 2 stacs from Marilyn completion. No bird issues but need NTS permission for boatman to land you RHW14/09/2009
With the Marhofn group organised by Brent. Brilliant weather. Up SE landing via initial pitch lead by Ian T for us all. Very steep grass terraces for the rest of the climb.Eddie14/09/2009
Made quite tricky landing with one of the Army and climbed easily to top trying not to damage too many puffin burrows.signyred24/08/1966
