From church car park in Glen Artney, W along road to bridge over Water of Ruchill, then across fields and up An Beannan, on to Meall Clachach, Uamh Bheag, then E to trig point and E top, then Beinn Odhar and Beinn nan Eun, descending N to bridge over river S of Auchnashelloch and back to car parkkdbennett21/03/2020
From parking at Glen Artney road end. Had planned hill to North but there was stalking there so headed south on East bank of Water of Ruchill then up An Beannan and south to summit cairn. Not a bad route for this hill.willyross19/09/2019
The 2nd of 4 on an anticlockwise circuit of the Donalds above Glen Artney. Parked in the church car park at 711461 & up Meall Clachan. From Meall Clachan, followed path to left of fence which bypasses the peat hags in col & heads up to summit next to cairn & fence junction. Continued to Beinn Odhar. (S)gerrybowes20/08/2019
Contnued along fence S from Meall Clachach to UB summit; first phase lunch. Turned E along fence to reach trig pillar and went out N to putative and unmarked top of UB (663.4). Returned ESE to fence and down to peat hags, close to windfarm, struggling NNE through deep hags to head for Beinn Odhar. Weather continued fine with a little more W wind. Second visit, also solo, to UB was on 17/10/2015.jacobus08/07/2019
too late in the day after leaving Stirling having woken up too late, so ran out of daylight to cross over to the other hump and tump some it to the eastvegibagger15/11/2018

On round of the Glen Artney Donalds and Donald Tops.nickywood117/07/2017
Followed SMC Grahams and Donald circuit: Am Beannan - Meall Clachach - Uamh Bheag W and E tops - Beinn Odhar - Beinn nan Eun. Rime on the ground helped with the peatier sections. Otherwise Spring-like, with a skein of geese flying North, bright sun and a cloud inversion.Nick Down121/01/2017

Wet day walk from Glen ArtneyDavid Greaves09/07/2016
Route as per SMC Grahams & Donalds book. 7 hours for the circuit: hard going for most of the way with no paths to speak of and lots of peat hags.TRG31807/07/2016

My last Donald. Solo celebration with a wee dram of Lagavulin.ngthack06/04/2016
With Jenx from below East Bracklin (Easter Brackland on map). Then track all way past Middle Bracklin which continues as a fine track all the way to GR67522 10854, within 2km of top. Good walking over heath to foothills and newish fence all way to summit. Detour via Beinn Breac trig and return much the same way in under 3hrs.nordicstar17/12/2015
Nice walk with some cows on the way.jenx17/12/2015
Solo on final walk for Donalds and Tops; came over Meall Clachach and continued onto Beinn Odhar, the final Top. UB first visited, 22/08/2009, with J and M whilst chasing Grahams and third walk was solo during second D&T round on 08/07/2019.jacobus17/10/2015

Another Donald done today. The bealach between the two of them has the worst peat bogs I have ever seen. You could easily 'disappear' and be lost forever!Play2End07/08/2014

Visited the Auld Kirk at Achnashelloch before starting walk. Lovely crisp morning with frost covering the ground. Wasn't expecting the wind turbines (due to using old map). one of them scared me to death when it suddenly loomed from the mist.thenomad08/12/2009
from Glenartney church car park, with Mark and John. 5hrs 30 mins, via Am Beannan and Clachach. Cool, sunny and bright. Great views of the back of B Vorlich. Rough going in tussocky grass but not too boggy. Lovely glen.niallp04/10/2009

From Callander via Golf Course, with J and MB. Graham tick. Good weather. Retraced route on return. Second visit, 17/10/2015, en-route from Meall Clachach to UB's E tops and on to the final Donald Top of Beinn Odhar. Frosty start to the day which developed into sun and blue sky and later a little cloud.trienbrae22/08/2009
