Roadside verge parking due N (NZ 3374 4591). RoW to the covered reservoir, then across a field of stubble.jonglew21/08/2022
Only up to mast as crop in field but seems higher anyway. Calling it a bag and that's Sunderland compleat.Wycombe Wanderer29/08/2021

From P at NZ33784593. Visited both possible high points - TP and an earth mound adjacent to tree and compound fences. Continuation walk circumnavigating the hill on the 'Great North Forest Heritage Trail' (!) was the more interesting for the spring flora in the conservation field margins.summitsup14/05/2019
Both points visited but I'd plump for the spot by the golf ballColin Crawford25/03/2019
Parked up near Pittington and ran up the road then up the track to the golf ball and across the muddy ploughed field to the trigpoint.madaddo20/09/2018
Parked opposite row of houses on Moorsley Road, and followed bridleway and track to the Met Office golf ball and the trig a short way across a field. The bank by the golf ball looks to be the highest point.Nick Down119/05/2018
From north along FP. Went to weather station and trig to complete the UA tops.PeterD09/04/2017
Visited both points. Trig acess via soil patches within shabby looking cabbage type vegetation. Can see Penshaw Hill.ger22/02/2017

Bagged trig and radar dome from road to the north.Dugswell203/05/2015
Path led to trig point, but my vote for the high point is the base of the radar dome. Last of a 10 tump trip to complete 5 counties. Home at 19:30GordonAdshead11/03/2015
Return to pick up the trig, missed in the dark on last visit to top by mast. Ground by mast is higher, Abney level.nordicstar19/02/2015
Public f/p from N to weather radar dome, then about another 80m across crop field to trig in a rough patch. Not sure whether the weather dome area or the trig is higher, or whether it's not (!). Fine panorama.Aye Jimmy30/12/2014
From road to North, up RoW to summit by head torch. Top in trees by mast.nordicstar11/12/2014
