P at start of track to Sheraton Grange Farm. Back along B1280. Up mast track. Round the N and W side of the enclosure Into the field and then back along the S and E side to the track.chrisbien13/10/2021
Parked north side of the road as missed the track and walking up the road side was straightforward. Very overgrown top, bit of a bash around the mast to get to top 20 min bagNicky C04/09/2021
Parked in entrance to mast track. Easier to get back out than you might think, thanks to nearby traffic lights. Followed right hand edge of compound fence, to get easily to summit.Wycombe Wanderer29/08/2021

3/7. Parked in lay by on Hartlepool road just over A 19. Interesting walk back to the access track. Managed to get to the summit by sticking close to the fencing.Bramley23/05/2021
Quick up and down from aerial track (blocked by fly-tipping). HP is in field near pine slopes outside of aerial enclosure.Denise 17/12/2020
A brief visit while passing. Should have parked in the muddy layby on the N side of the B1280 to W of transmitter track as backing onto the B1280 can hardly be recommended. Anyway, over the dumped rubbish and up the steep concrete track and clockwise around the enclosure to the summit field, currently stubble. Levelish summit, vague high point.RichardM17/12/2020
Walked up the concrete track from the A Road, released a lamb that had its head stuck through a square of the wire fence. Good views of Teesside from the top as a chiffchaff called in the woods.mrs_ts710/06/2018
Parked to the west. Easy walk up transmitter track.Campbell Singer22/05/2018
Hill Bagging 5 Durham TUMPS by bike. 80k ride. Cycled to transmitter compound on concrete road from B1280. High point at west side of compound at field edge. Cycled past Raisby Hill, no time to 'summit' on way back to campr van at Royal Oak on A68John Lee16/10/2017
Parked to west. Up track and then up through woods to HP just into field. Back via mast and track.PeterD09/04/2017
Parked in gateway. Ran up the steep lane and out into the field.madaddo18/02/2017
Entrance doesn't seem too bad for parking as long as you don't go too far in - deep pothole just over a car's length into it! Fortunately road was clear so easy enough to reverse in. Blocks access so quick run up to the topthe_adam25/10/2016
Entrance to mast track not very good for parking, especially if you've got low ground clearance like my camper van. Room for one vehicle off the road 200m further east.ngthack25/02/2016
Fine view of the Tees-?oxymoronpeebs18/02/2016
Gorgeous wee hill up a track from the north , round the utility compound and into the stubly field.vegibagger02/09/2015
Parked high on verge of B1280 about 200m W of muddy track leading to mast. HP seems to be about 25m out into crop field (just green shoots at moment).Aye Jimmy11/11/2014
From road at track end. Not the easiest of parking. After that straightforward line up road to mast, over fence to top. Good views to Hartlepool coast.nordicstar05/03/2014
Pleasant afternoon drive and ramblemcbiydw224/12/2013
The access track off the main road appears to be little used and only serves the transmitter close to the hill's summit. As the ascent is only 5 or so minutes it is safe to pull in here and follow the track close to the top. There is a gap between the security fence and the tree boundary to squeeze through in order to reach the actual summit.moorsman18/08/2013
