Good bike circuit with Wessenden Head descent then steeply up to Pule Hill. Low cloud and drizzle initially improving nicely. East to Meltham Cop then Swinny Knoll (prickly ascent from S) and finally the long climb back to final hill - West Nab - my penultimate Ethel.steveb200604/01/2024

Bagged during a linear walk between Greenfield and Marsden. Approach was from the south and a delightful, easy path with views down to the A62 road followed. Descended to re-join the Standedge Trail below Little Nab End.Sherlock15/09/2021
Very short walk of just over a mile with parking on mount road to the south took lower path then a lighting scramble up the side which the kids loved and up onto path at top. Followed it to summit then straight down the nose to the car. With Cody, Reece, TommyThe-Z-Man24/07/2021

Cycled from home and ascended by path from minor road to the south. Still restricted from travelling further afield by Coronavirus restrictions.Neil Midgley12/05/2020
Surprisingly impressive hill at the head of the Colne valley that we'd had our eyes on for a while. Could be nicknamed the Marsden Matterhorn. From Slaithwaite with Miranda, 9 degrees, overcast, south-westerlies, mostly dry. Walked along the cut to the visitor centre, then took the minor road to the A62, crossed and took the footpath opposite. Started up a track to a small gate on the right which led to a lovely little path that eventually follows the western edge of the hill to the fine summit. Driving rain added to the feeling of being in real hill country. Returned by same route. 14km, 3 hours 20 mins.Wycombe Wanderer07/03/2020
