Straight up from the NE, descent on a thin path on the west ridge, to a gate on the roadside.Moorponder02/09/2020
From Aldery Cliff. Ascent becomes increasingly ridgy and it occurs to me that it's been pretty much all ridge walking from Chrome Hill. Sat down fro ten minutes for a pork pie and continued to Dow Low.Wycombe Wanderer29/08/2020

10.8 mile circular from Parsley Hay, followed minor road and footpaths to Carder Low via Vincent House farm, from Carder Low followed footpath to Pilsbury Castle Hill then followed unofficial path through the access land to road at Crowdicote, from bend followed path up onto High Wheeldon (2nd time visited), then onto Aldery Cliff with easy access back to the road east, followed footpaths north-east to High Peak Trail then followed this back to Parsley Hay. Deep snow for majority of the walk, this looked amazing with the cloudless skies today, temperature ranging from 0 to -5 all day, with a cold wind.DanTrig02/02/2019

From Pilsbury castle Hill and on to Aldery Cliff as part of excellent walk from Hartington. Hazy views. Stone trig on top. Steep grassy sides. Fox Hole cave below is an ancient monument and is secured by a gate to protect remains of paleolithic man- pretty amazing.Denise 04/06/2018
