15.5 mile bike ride from nr Chelmorten. Upper Edge->Booth Hill->Nether Low (both Great Low & Nether Low). No fence on top now, but remains of old stone wall in the grass.steveb200630/11/2023
HP by wall in sheep pasture. 15:30 and already the sun is setting, orange glow and purply clouds.Denise 01/12/2020
From the E across field of pasture. Remains of stone wall and BWF crosses high point. Fine views in rapidly fading daylight.RichardM01/12/2020
Parked on hardstanding just below entrance to farm track at SK 1124 6893 - Over gate, along track & turned left past a large heap of farmyard manure. Fairly obvious high point lies against wall beyond FYM. (S)gerrybowes13/11/2020
Parked opposite track from east.clivevilla28/10/2020
After Chelmorton Low. Easily over gate then along track to wall corner, past muck heap to obvious high point.Wheelsy12/08/2020
Nice view N over Buxton. Pile of sileage, higher than summit.davechaffey17/05/2019
Verge parking opposite track to dung heap. For Greatlow alternative summit, easy parking at junction of minor road and track, just N of Blinder House.mae03/08/2018
Clear and mild walk up track to high point beyond muck heap.Dugswell211/01/2018
GPS showed alternative top - Greatlow @ SK 10994 67973 - to be 6m higher than Nether low @ SK 11079 68876carole engel01/11/2017

Pleasant views though with a huge dung pile near the summit!!John Eley12/03/2017
Up track. Cold and damp with brilliant rainbow. 20th Tump of the day. Tired!!Campbell Singer11/10/2016
Only real place to park is actually at the side of the road, where the track to the summit starts and which allows enough room for other vehicles to pass (alt 1322ft). A track runs most of the way to the top. 200m return. Less than 5 minutes. Rather fine summit muck-heap to enjoy.moorsman29/01/2016
5/15 Fifth of fifteen on a wet and very windy day (Fir Hill/Foredales Head/Bee Low/Chelmorton Low/Nether Low/Dow Low (Brier Low)/High Wheeldon/Revidge/Merryton Low/Wolfscote Hill/Wetton Hill/High Edge/Upper Edge/Thirkelow Rocks/Sir William Hill)Fergalh29/11/2015
Walk up from Chelmorton along lanes. Close to summit is a small 'yard' in the field, a shimmy over the gate takes you to high point. I am firmly convinced this one will become 'Un' and that Great Low is the higher hill.DanHolme26/07/2015
1st hill of 8 today starting from Common lane jct with the A5270, Walked through Chelmorton village and then Pippenwell road. Branched odd one field too early so had one fence to climb to reach summit (presently used as a hay and manure pile). Top is a little grasdy bump next to fence.Dazingdale11/06/2015
From lane to E, through cropped hayfield with large herd of fairly docile cows for company. Rise by wall at far side.Aye Jimmy22/06/2014
