Parking field at Roaches Tea Room for £2 for the day well worth it on a busy bank holiday weekend. Saw a couple of verge parked cars sporting penalty notices. Ouch. Bagged Hen Cloud, following path around to climb the east face. On to pine woodland below edge of The Roaches. The heat drawing a wonderful aroma from the trees. Up a pass and along the top to the summit. Plenty of trippers, made slow going, but they were there for a reason - its a great bag. Also bagged The Gun and The Cloud.
