4 of 5 on 9 mile hike starting at teggs nose country car park. From whitehills followed the path down charity lane and straight across main road into field followed passed th farmhouse and to the wall that leads up to the summit. I must have spent over an hour at the top relaxing in the sunThe-Z-Man09/07/2023
Parked by the ROW E of Brink. Then as summitter.PGCE02/07/2023
From Teggs Nose Country Park cp. Brink, Ely Brow and Whitehills. Outstandingly warm and sunny autumn afternoon with time off work unexpectedly. Lovely afternoon.Lazylizzie13/10/2022
ROW from A537 to (and around) Valeroyal. Once over wall stile SE of summit a vehicular grass track gives easy access to the top field.summitter19/05/2022
Obvious summit in domed pasture- foggy. Last of circuit starting at Tegg's Nose reservoir carpark. Nice route back through wild terrain and woodland.Denise 30/10/2020
Along the ridge from N to S. Sheep pasture. Misty.RichardM30/10/2020
Left car at quarry entrance, easy to get into field 50 yards north along road, cross the stream and a low gate then follow NE side of wall to summit. Decided to leave jacket at the bottom to avoid getting too hot, heavy rain quickly ensued. Stopped on return to jacket.Wycombe Wanderer25/10/2020
From Teggs Nose Country Park cp. Via Teggs Nose onto Whitehills, Ely Brow and BrinkLongwojo16/02/2020
Parked in quarry entrance as others but tried to be clever and went back up the road and ended up with a steep descent to the stream followed by a steep ascent from the stream. Came back the more sensible way.clivevilla11/12/2019
Parked in old quarry entrance NW of Walker Barn at 954739 - RoW, including permissive path through Valeroyal, to step stile at 964742 - Over wall & then NW up grassy track - About 50yd from top, over collapsed wall to embedded stone in summit hump. A pleasant walk, but definitely not the most direct route! (S)gerrybowes12/07/2019
From Brink. RoW across stream then diagonally up field. Through gate and over wall and fence. Per GPS the SW top is about 3m lower than summit.chrisbien10/12/2017

6th hill of 7 today on a route from Adlington to Macclesfield station, climbing Styperson Park, Nab Head, Billinge Hill, Charles Head and Waggonshaw brow Hill continuing Sw and then following a stream through lovely woodland before veering off to climb over one fence onto pasture full of thistles in flower to summit at stated embedded rock @ SJ96056 74456. Had lunch with great views before descent Sw to Walker Barn and then cappuccino and ice cream at Teggs Nose visitor centre before continuing to Higher Blakelow...Dazingdale22/07/2017

Parked just past the bend which is Walkers Barn. Parking at quarry not possible due to road works. Back towardsBuxton round bend and the down fp (concrete track) and then up grassy pasture. High point is east bump despite the west bump looking higher.Campbell Singer14/12/2016

Parked in the old quarry entrance 250m west of Walker Barn (alt 1164ft). From Walker Barn itself an obvious path leads all the way to the top. When you leave the tarmac road and head down to the stream cross a small gate on your right in order to pick it up. 1.47 miles 40 minutes return.moorsman28/01/2016

Charles Head - Waggonshaw Brow - Ely Brow - Rainow. Path up the SE side. Both tops feel equally high. Stunning views and a nice crest, a very worthwhile hill.Jake99408/09/2015
Came in from Walker Barn. Path up to summit is not marked on the map but clearly walked. No walls or barbed wire to negotiate.W111KYB01/03/2015
From south farm track, electronic gate150m from house button for walkers just opened it enough for walkers to get through. Walked up to house and nice woman came up and opened the gate for us and happily let us park by the house. Nice circular hike clockwise up gently sloping route then west to eat along summit and south by the copse back to the farm house.vegibagger11/01/2015
Large layby on A537 to SE, start of lane to Wickenford Farm. Public f/p at first then track in spinney at E end of hill. Followed crest, two 'summits', first is official one, next one feels just as high.Aye Jimmy05/05/2014
Followed fp from Walker Barn then skirted around keeping low profile up onto nice ridge.Chris Pearson12/07/2011
