Quick Edge from GR: SD 97144 03468. I wasn't intending on parking so close but my car Satnav took me up and over the BOAT, when I saw the covered reservoir I realised I was near the summit.ronaldo33326/07/2020

Parking to the south down Quick Edge Road where it narrows and becomes a track (alt 284m). Taking the first footpath south of the summit leaves you on the wrong side of a barbed wire fence and in full view of the landowner's house window, Better to carry on up the lane for another 75m to a gate and approach from the rear, out of sight. 15 minutes return.moorsman04/03/2020

Light levels lessening discernibly but dropped down Sw side to intercept fp to reach A469 then took track through suburb (becomes Oldham way nr Grasscroft)to A6050 then fp Sw towards Little Haigh farm but followed edfe of field beforehand to reach road with easy access into field containing summit.
