Plenty of roadside parking at the start of the track to Quarlton Fold Farm. Continue on the track to the wood and take a short track left to a gate. This gives access to the summit. 1.86 km return. 30 minutes.moorsman08/03/2019

Started from Walves and set off on a path through the woods to the end of the track and a quick detour left to the top on a glorious day with views to Winter Hill, Peel Tower and the Clwydian Hills, then through Turton Bottoms to Jumbles Reservoir and onto the Tump of AffetsideWayne Mac28/09/2018

Drove up the lane from the main road to the south. Parked in a pull in near the top on the edge of the wood. Nobody around. Up and back in five minutes. Good viewpoint for such an easy little hill.Campbell Singer26/02/2018
5th tump of 6 today, an out and back to Turton Height then my main route from pick-up bank, climbing Rushy Hill, Rushton's Height, Scholes Hill boundary and Bull Hill, descending Sw over Black Moss then on track South to Boardman's farm then on fp following stream as it arcs round Sw to SE then on track to house before using footpath to North of hill veering off to visit summit. A pleasant vague flat top on short-cropped grass. Descent through wood to reach road following it South to reach A676, heading for Affetside.Dazingdale26/11/2017

Small lay-by on A676 at SD 75047 14954. Walked east along road to public footpath (tarmac lane). Keep left when lane splits than turn left onto public footpath. After going through trees leave footpath & head north for summit.David Gradwell21/10/2010
