Met Lindsey at Broxton roundabout picnic area for a sunny day out in Cheshire. After walking up Harthill and Raw Head, we drove to Bulkeley and parked on the verge of Mill Lane at SJ 5295 5500. We followed the woodland paths north up Peckforton Gap. After the derelict Lodge we turned south up through the trees to join the Sandstone Trail. The summit is approx 100 yards from an info board (great view across the plain from here). We continued southwest along the scarp then doubled back down to the cars.Skip21/06/2020

Bulkeley Hill and Peckforton Point in a circular route from 52973 55002. Went up a steep direct path to Bulkeley Hill from a short way along the path from the gate.clivevilla21/05/2020
Large dedicated area for parking along the road around the Bulkeley Mill T-junction. A path leads through a gate in the wall opposite and turns immediately left. Keep on this track as far as the signpost for the Sandstone Trail on the col. Here, permissive paths lead towards, but do not cross the summit. A short detour into the trees is required.moorsman06/03/2020

Justifiably popular, even on a grey January afternoon. Levelish summit area in open deciduous woodland - Sweet Chestnut, Oak, Birch and a few Scots Pines. High point rock in leaf litter on SW edge.RichardM13/01/2019
Parking for a few cars at SJ 5290 5548. Walked NW to Peckforton Lodge (under offer and has a cut benchmark), then into woodland near enough due S for a good track up to top of this hill. Backtracked to the Lodge for Peckforton Point.jonglew23/11/2018

Post Christmas walk with family. Finally took the time to find the summit - a nice little rock on the mound. Let my niece bag it first!tumpawumpa27/12/2017
I've been past the summit several times over the years following the Sandstone Trail but this was the first time I've detoured the 80m off the trail to go to the highest point. Saw lots of deer hoofprints in the snow.Alan Moore10/12/2017
From Higher Burwadsley along Sandstone Trail. Bit annoyed about getting spooked by activity and missing out Peckforton Point en-route. Summit set back from the edge. Lovely views between the hailstorms.Jake99425/11/2017
The railway and tanks were evidently to do with the water works. I decided to ascend using the track. The gradient started gentle and then got steeper and steeper and steeper. Pleasant woods but no view.Campbell Singer17/10/2017

Much as Dugswell. A nice walk on generally easy clear paths. A few rooty bits but nothing too bad. There's a lot of interesting nan made features lower down. What was the railway for. What are all those oil tanks...stig_nest18/07/2017

3rd hill of 7 today on a route from Ridley to Tilston, climbing Ridley Bank and Peckforton Point, looping around a scrap heap area to drop onto the Sandstone trail, following this with great views over the Cheshire plain and then headed up past some nice large Sweet Chestnut trees to the summit, complete with an embedded stone. Descent to a track, meeting the Sandstone trail further on but veering off when it turns for Raw Head.. Next hill: Harthill.Dazingdale25/02/2017

Went up the railway first time i did this. Iike this pleasant walking area, and signs to the bickerton poacher are appreciated as they do the world's best chip nutty (not on Sundays!) Not 100% I found top as was not looking for it on this occasion so not tickedtumpawumpa20/06/2016
