The road to the south was carrying A51 traffic due to a road closure. Parked a few hundred metres east of the farm and had a scary walk to the road up to the reservoir and on to the trig area. | fasgadh | 05/10/2021 |

As others, parked on verge alongside gate opposite Ridley Bank Farm at SJ 5647 5383 - Along concrete road to trig point on E. side of pond & then over low barbed wire fence to the ground behind hawthorn on the opposite bank; summit GR indicates that this is the high point. Took a lot longer than anticipated due to road to the south being closed due to roadworks. However, when the road is open there is parking available close to Ridley Bank Farm, then a short walk along good tracks to the trig point. | moorsman | 06/03/2020 |
RoW from the A536 to trig pillar. Good views albeit under uninspiring grey skies | RichardM | 13/01/2019 |
1/4 Feels just about nothing like a hill. Public RoW feels almost like a trap. Spoilt for choice for entry points to reservoir, then confusion as to what to do next. Ambled around. | tumpawumpa | 01/01/2019 |
Room for a car without blocking field gate at SJ 5653 5383. OS have a 127m spot height on the large covered reservoir although 125m point at the trig is most likely the natural HP. Resr compound is low security for a look round. | jonglew | 23/11/2018 |
Verge parking then stroll along track to trig and likely high points | Bramley | 09/10/2018 |
Sunny stroll up track to trig then a good look at the likely high points. Easy parking o road at start of track. | Dugswell2 | 29/09/2018 |

Parked at side of concrete road. Easy stroll up. Surprisingly good views north at the top. | Campbell Singer | 17/10/2017 |
.. in passing. | Moorponder | 28/09/2017 |
Parked in layby on A49(S) near entrance to Meadow Farm. Cycled N, then SE on A534. Through farm gate, which states No Hunting, and up the concrete road. Avoiding at herd of cows felt like real life Moo-Moo Meadows on the Wii. Reservoir, Trig, cow patts duly bagged. | Minto | 19/08/2017 |
Ninth top of a short day tidying up the Cheshire Tumps of the immediate area. A simple walk along a farm track. Visited trig and hopped the gate onto reservoir. Lovely day..too many flies though. | stig_nest | 18/07/2017 |
1st of 7 hills today in two parts VIA public transport & walking. Nottm to Derby, train to Crewe then due to line closure due to suicide, took bus to Nantwich & finally pre-ordered taxi to Ridley. Walked through wood but no higher ground than reservoir which i walked over to track to Trig, also climbed over fence as ground in field is similar to trig height. Continued on fp towards Peckforton Point.... | Dazingdale | 25/02/2017 |
Walked up from A534. Good view of Peckforton and Beeston castles. | Richard Gunn | 05/02/2017 |
Parked on A534 at start on concrete track. Despite still been dark, (7:25am), very easy to find summit. | David Evans | 03/12/2016 |
