As Campbell Singer. Parked at E. end of Landgdale Drive & up narrow path between Nos. 24 & 26 to cricket ground - Across ground, over white barrier in NE corner & then along littered path behind N. terrace to high point.gerrybowes06/01/2024
Wall overlooking Cricket pitch. Surprisingly good views. Accessed from Kilner Bank road from the south ( which has a bar gate to prevent a through trip) . Then on brambly local paths along south side of access land.Denise 27/01/2023

Dalton Fold & Round wood Hill. dropped my wife in town to meet her mate so thought I'd bag these two 'hills'joseph mitchell10/03/2017
Final hill of 7 before dropping into Huddersfield station. Started in Millhouse green and climbed Upper Whitley edge Wood Royd hill, Cheese Gate Nab, Haw Cliff, Farnley Moor and Castle hill and finally this hill and agree that high point appears to be behind wall to cricket pitch But rough ground beyond of similar height. Used paths through rough scrub to reach main roads. Took canal towpath to get close to the station where my Walk terminated.Dazingdale24/08/2016

Across the famous sloping cricket pitch. Scrambled up the grandstand to wall. Highest natural ground over wall. Went under barrier in corner of pitch & round to other side of wall. Must be the quaintest cricket ground in the country.ngthack30/09/2015
Huddersfield to Dewsbury via Kilner Bank, Dalton Bank, Whitley, Ravensthorpe and the riverside to Dewsbury. Walked Dalton Bank plenty of times previously.Mac.Hawk11/07/2015
Crowded parking in estate, used Bramley's approach. HP rough ground over wall at head of sloping(!) cricket pitch. Large boulders nearby, slightly lower.Aye Jimmy19/04/2014
Highpoint seems to be in area of rough land just north of cricket pitch. The pitch and land beyond it looks lower.citygent03/12/2013
