Dalton Fold & Round wood Hill. dropped my wife in town to meet her mate so thought I'd bag these two 'hills' | joseph mitchell | 10/03/2017 |
Final hill of 7 before dropping into Huddersfield station. Started in Millhouse green and climbed Upper Whitley edge Wood Royd hill, Cheese Gate Nab, Haw Cliff, Farnley Moor and Castle hill and finally this hill and agree that high point appears to be behind wall to cricket pitch But rough ground beyond of similar height. Used paths through rough scrub to reach main roads. Took canal towpath to get close to the station where my Walk terminated. | Dazingdale | 24/08/2016 |
