Parked at the triangle near Ashbury farm. Followed the fps to the east of the hill, then track up half left through the forest to the farm buildings. Simply over the gate to summit field. This is currently a hay meadow so best wait until it is cut.Rob Rees04/07/2021

From lane to NW. Woodland hill with a different feel to most of the area.Wycombe Wanderer02/05/2021
From NW, space to park a car.Adrian13/09/2019
From Ashberry farm. Highpoint either the spothight or by field boundarycjo10/02/2019
Parking for a few cars at the road junction by Ashberry Farm. Gate alongside farmhouse gives easy access into the wood and along the FP running to the east of the hill. After a short distance you come to two gates. Go round the higher one and head up the path uphill. Look for an indistinct track doubling back uphill and follow it towards a gate on the skyline. Cross this and head over the apparent high point to where the true high point becomes visible along the fence to the north.moorsman31/10/2018
From parking to S (near Ashbury Farm). ROW to good track thru' wood leading to mapped building - pheasant farming stuff. Could be difficult if game keeper aroundcarole engel27/08/2018

Parked at the triangle below the Ashberry Farm. Walked along to bag the cut mark at Hagg Hall then up footpath around hill to farm track up to summit field. Passed farm buildings to high point in field. Then continued north to another farm track to gain road to the NE. Then walked round to explore Rievaulx Abbey.Dugswell209/04/2018
Parked in layby near Ashberry Farm and followed ascending RoW / track northwards around the side of the hill, with glimpses of the spectacular ruined Rievaulx Abbey through bare leaved trees. Many pheasants. From the high point of the RoW it is possible to follow tracks up to a field gate. The HP was an indistinct point in a snowy domed field and we were treated to a gorgeous sunset with reddening skies. Rievaulx temple visible.Denise 03/12/2017
Foot path from Ashberry Farm gently rises through woodland on E side of hill. Good views of impressive abbey through leafless trees. At high point of path LH fork reaches junction where turning L reaches gate into summit field (pasture) with large levellish top.RichardM03/12/2017
With Jo, from Riveaux Abbey on a lovely warm sunny day. Good views over surrounding countryside. Over 20 deer in summit field.amblerbob24/03/2017
From near Ashberry Farm, walked E along lane towards Old Byland for about 100m then straight up slippery hillside in wood. Crossed broad L-R track just before emerging onto open pasture with sheep, cows and bullocks. Highest point debatable.Aye Jimmy08/06/2014
