Worth incorperating this one into a bit of a walk. I did a short 2hr loop from the south which actually involved walking up a hill in a wooded valley. The views from the flanks of the hill are quite nice, especially looking west.sturuss05/08/2022

After Visiting The Deep, Hull decided to bag this one on the way home. Parked North of the Summit field in a Layby (SE9419135405). Then headed first to the Beacon then an Anticlockwise loop of the summit field visiting the trig and finally looping round to the summit GR.Jephcote8328/09/2021
Another visit. Still not convinced where the exact high point is. Visited the trig again because it feels more summity ! With Alfie. Easter Sunday. My first hill since January due to Covid Lockdown.Dangerous Dave04/04/2021

Parking in entrance to vehicle track up W side of hedge - or drive up - it's only 100m.jimbloomer26/08/2020
Off-road parking next to mast at SE 9458 3507 - W. along grass verge to junction with farm track; the relatively narrow B1320 was busy with fast moving traffic, including HGVs, so a bit hairy - S on good track to the high point. (S)gerrybowes18/08/2020

1 of 5 on 38.3 mile bike ride including great wold, high hunsley wold, south field old GR, south field and east mount. Following on from great wold continued along Yorkshire wold way had to hop over fence where there were clear signs of private no entry to reach trigThe-Z-Man06/01/2019
Pulled in at SE 9467 3509, a bit further W would have been better at ent to covered resr. Track at E side of resr opens out into a large arable field. Walked W towards distant field boundary. Probably walked over the HP somewhere but difficult to say with any certainty.jonglew26/09/2018

Solo. The trig point is reached by stepping over a low bw fence and following the hedge.Dangerous Dave16/05/2015
looks like a few options for the top for me. Not sure opposite the beacon is any higher than the mast. Man playing bagpipes near to mast??Bramley27/09/2014
Parked on verge by 'High Hunsley Beacon'. After a wander, decided summit was verge on other side of road rather than somewhere in field.Aye Jimmy14/08/2014
Parked to the east on a side road past the mast and then walked back along the verge on this busy road to the high point and then the nearby trig point. High point probably just off road to south, opposite side to the beacon.Father Ted18/01/2014

Wolds Way section from Arras to South Cave- a good walk with frequent buses at both ends. My notes describe High Hunsley as the worst section. There was a top somewhere here! A visit in 2021 to check the HP did not convince me any of the candidates were higher than where I went in the'80s. By car but only over pt. 161m. many times, nice way to drive to home in the Hull Avenues.pwheeler09/12/1984
