With Jo, from Flatts Lane Country Park VC. Continued forward to Nunthorpe Reservoir trig. Weather; dull day but views from reservoir were good.amblerbob17/12/2019
From Flatts Lane visitor centre on woodland paths. Top (wherever it is) is a brambly mess, really not worth the bother! Mile each way. There is a leaflet available showing the paths.citygent03/10/2019

Pleasant country park being enjoyed by lots of kids on their hols. Shame about the dog muck in plastic bags. I donít understand such dog owners. Pick it up and take it home.Campbell Singer08/08/2018

Evening ascent with Darren through wooded country park from car park to NE to complete R & C. Owl put up in summit trees by D ahead of me. Then after encircling the large fenced reservoir we managed to reach the 'inaccessible' trig by squeezing under the main gate where heavy machinery had gouged a sloping hollow in the road. Required a sideways crab move in the press up position to keep out of the gravelly dirt. Not a move one often performs. Later,a chip supper where we were given extra free chips and a bun because we 'looked hungry'! Then drove across the Pennines to camp high in fog and rain and dark next to the lonely Tan Hill road at 500mChris Pearson28/07/2016
As AJ. Got a summit photo for Des. Redcar & Cleveland completion.ngthack24/02/2016
From W, past reservoir compound, L on path leading almost all the way, then a few m of brambles to summit marked by isolated gorse bush. Starlight ascent after office Xmas meal and a Fri eve A1 drive north.RHW11/12/2015
Bridleway from WSW leading into Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park. Turned R just after Nunthorpe reservoir through bushes, cross open area, then into wood. Summit by gorse bush, overgrown area.Aye Jimmy15/10/2014
Interesting. Parked at bridleway, NZ541160, and went up lane for trig, which is in locked compound. Circled the fence to get a view, then had struggle through brambles and vegetation to regain track. The hill is 300m or so away, following bike tracks to uncover a pleasant gorse and tree covered top. Bracken re-emerging. More of a trek than expected but pleasant. Back to road by easy descent to Upsall Hall and then back along that to start.nordicstar30/04/2014
Wandered up this whilst visiting the country park with no intention of bagging anything. A true unexpected tump!moorsman19/03/2013
