Quick Munro before Jordan and Becca's wedding. Following some food at Calander, camped on the south side of Loch Earn. Started up along Glen Vorlich and into Coire Buidhe, then started the to gain the north ridge of Ben Vorlich. The weather began to close in and visability became very poor, in cloud all the way to the top, and pretty windy from the west. We then dropped down off the north west ridge, and the cloud began to part revealing some amazing views. Followed over to Ben Our, stopping to eat some Bilberries, before having to fern bash back down into Glen Vorlich.ByronHaywood22/07/2023
Straight up the motorway from Ardvorlich to the summit trig, down to the Beallach & scramble up Stuc a Chroin & it's N top. Descent NW, NE then N to skirt W side of Ben Vorlich on good paths. Then picked up smaller path & ATV track to summit of Creagan nan Gabhar. Great views of Stuc scramble from here. Path continues to Ben Our & on over Sron Mhor. Path disappeared here and we descended E, zigzagging to avoid bracken to meet main motorway just above dog gate. According to a very pleasant local, 14000 people climb these munros every year!Lynnebe05/07/2023

Follow fence line along Creag Chasain and on to Stuc a'Chroin. Descent towards Creag Dhubh and down shoulder an descent to hydroelectric station and return via Glen Ample.raymooremanx02/04/2023
With Bert from Ardvorlich combined with Stuc a Chroin. Clear day climbed the ridge up well established path with steepening ascent to Trig point summit. Met canadaian lady on her way down. She had lived in Scotland 22 years. went on to Sutc a Chroin and returned via boggy traverse around side of hill to return to car. Black Dunancan Campbells Castle at Edinample together with graver steon of 7 MacDonalds killed by locals reminded us of the tension in the highlands of old.david.walker4019/03/2023

Nice and clear to start with, some clouds appearing to blot out the partial eclipse of the sun, light got a bit dim then brightened before the summit of Ben Vorlich. On up the scramble to Stuc a'Chroin. Low cloud, wet and greasy rock then total lack of visibility until part way down the steep path leading to the water board track.Cumbrianexile25/10/2022

Ascent via the Ardvorlich estate in bright sunny conditions. From Ben Vorlich the ascent of Stuc a' Chroin was via the Prow; a very nice scramble.knarf02/10/2019
The path up to Ben Vorlich was quite busy but a lot less people made the journey to Stuc a' Chroin. Very windy up to Ben Vorlich but then it died off. The scramble up to Stuc a' Chroin wasn't that bad and there was only one bit that involved stretching your arm out to get a fingerhold. The scree path back down was a bit steep but fine. 6.5 hours in total.tsharp15/09/2019
