Up from road through the oakwood. Summit by bench with a fine view in the wrong direction. Very clear and view possibly to Northants. Enjoyed the hilly view on descent. Good weather, some were having a picnic after being let out of the nearby school.fasgadh16/10/2019

From layby to W, followed path through wood to reservoir, then found summit bench a short distance to N.Tony J02/12/2017
From one of the laybys and up across some nice flower meadows, dominated by knapweed, with lots of marbled whites and meadow browns. Lots of paths through the woods and then found the summit bench. The reservoir seems to be built on lower ground.Herbert Anchovy12/07/2017
From layby to west, up through woods to HP near seat. Good views.PeterD25/09/2016
As RHW. Highest natural point appears to be by a seat. The reservoir is surrounded by a fence with three strands of sloping barbed wire but the barbed wire was missing from one of the double gates and the bolt made a nice step up.clivevilla27/01/2016
