Parked at start of ROW to NW. ROW to summit. | PGCE | 25/09/2022 |
Parked by Longhope Church & followed the lane opposite before cutting across muddy fields to the summit. Nice views! | Gerry the Ranger | 21/02/2021 |
Parking at start of farm track at SO 6659 1937. PRoW to the top, approx in the hedge line near the stile. Geocache here too. Good views over the old Xerox factory! | DanMaisieBex | 15/08/2020 |
Felt like a long way up from Longhope Church to NE, through lush fields on footpaths, lots of wild flowers and birds. Good views; HP by gorse hedge. | Denise | 17/05/2020 |
From the ENE over field path with 'beware of Bull' signs but no bull. High point on hedge line 10m N of stile.
Good views. | RichardM | 17/05/2020 |
Footpath from Longhope church. Intended to drop down to Mitcheldean, but path seemed to be blocked and there was a massive factory complex in the way. So transcended and returned by same route. | CXB | 12/02/2020 |
Parked in lane opposite the church. Missed the direct route up, and ended up going through Preece Moor Farm, wading through ankle deep slurry run-off in the lane beyond (at which point the I thought the hill was living up to its name) and eventually crossing pastures to find the summit stile. Route down better signed for the most part. | milimana | 02/12/2019 |

Up the Wysis Way to the farm on the ridge then along the ridge to hp. I too could not find a route from the industrial estate. | clivevilla | 28/02/2017 |
From E, Longhope, my final Gloucestershire tump - triple completion with vegibagger and Adrian, my 2nd and Charles's 8th County/UA of the day! Welsh and Scotch single malt, a little cider and ample cake to celebrate this grand occasion. Down in the gloaming. Hp in pasture at fence line 10m N of stile, SO 67175 19163 | RHW | 16/10/2016 |
County completion with RHW and Charles Everett. Complete with mobile trig pillar. | Adrian | 16/10/2016 |
Had to abandon two planned west Midlands tumps to hot foot it to Gloucestershire. Delighted to have Adrian Rayner join me and Rob Woodall, having quietly collected all his other Glos tumps bar this one, so we could have a unique triple completion. Fabulous. Plus it stayed dry. | vegibagger | 16/10/2016 |
Same experience as Herbert Anchovy. Impossible from SW so drove round to north of Mitchelldean. Unpleasant views of industrial estate. | Campbell Singer | 23/09/2016 |
I couldn't find a way onto the hill from the industrial estate due to high fences so started on the path to WNW. Nice walk up to the summit stile in the sunshine. | Herbert Anchovy | 20/04/2016 |
From NW on FPs. HP by stile. | PeterD | 19/07/2015 |
From Mitcheldean on good paths, nice little hill. | rhalstead | 12/04/2015 |
From Mitcheldean by marked paths. | arranc | 10/03/2015 |
On a round of Glos tumps. Took path up through Craft Centre, approaching top from NE. Descent to SW awkward as path seems to have gone. HP near enough at stile on the FP. | jonglew | 31/01/2015 |
