Mountain Biking is big on Cannock Chase with two well known established waymarked trails called the `Monkey Trail' (15 miles) and the 7 mile 'Follow the Dog`. This latter trail designed for competent riders comes over the summit of Upper Cliff where signboards point the way and list lots of safety tips. Next year Birmingham hosts the 2022 Commonwealth Games with new trails to be built on Cannock Chase to host the mountain bike events. | Chris Pearson | 19/11/2021 |
