Logged Descriptions  (logged by 21 users)ByDate of Ascent
Left the car parked at Oxey Cross Roads after having bagged Round Hill. Followed road E then picked up RoW running up side of field to woods. A gate 200m from the SW corner of the woods allowed access to a grassy track through woods and out the other side, just to E of HP. One unlocked gate allowed access to the field with HP in. Back the same way. Fifth of seven today.Wheelsy09/08/2019
Via gate opposite Broom's Farm to East with farmer's permission. V. muddy gateway onto field at presentcarole engel13/02/2019

Used track from ESE starting at SK7952.0352. Followed this to gate into Big Wood Nature Reserve. Broad grassy track leads through pleasant wood to emerge at gate. Step over fence and summit is not far away, a field with nettle patches overtopped by manure heap and a lot of curious cows.Aye Jimmy13/05/2017
Easy stroll up through Launde Big Wood nature reserve.Colin Crawford04/01/2017
Accessed from Launde Big Wood, local wildlife trust site with ancient woodland to south of summit. Top indistinct in domed grassy field. Clear views, cold breeze, sunny.Denise 26/12/2016
Did not manage as too many people at Broom's Farm and attempted access also from spot height 187 but would have qualified as trespassing so we decided to be the bigger people - shame!! By bicycle with DTL. 33 miles, 2,120ft ascent total.Fionalevey24/02/2016
Parked to north at spot height 185M next to 2 huge farm equipment stores. As it was very early I walked round the stores' yard and into field, followed ridge south, into dip over a fence in triplicate and up onto summit. 20 minutes there and back. 4th of the morning.Campbell Singer04/12/2015
No problem walking straight up the hill from open way opposite entrance to Broom's Farm. Parked 30m SGordonAdshead30/07/2015

Hill no6 of 6 on this day! Took fp alongside the Eastern boundary and followed fp through wood to Northern boundary where I travelled along the fence westwards for about 20 metres before climbing through. Nice views. I took a different route out to access the fp going eastwardsDazingdale11/01/2014
