Have been saving this one for a while as close to home. First of 2016, last tump of the county of Gloucestershire for me. Ascended on permissive path. Very muddy up and down, good views.PeterD01/01/2016
Found the start of the Permissive Path easily, its off the road to the north of the bill NW of the summit. There is a sign saying that access is allowed so visitors can enjoy the view and asking you to keep to the path to the summit. I wish more hills without POWs were so welcoming.Swindon Bagger25/10/2015

Kingscote to Dursley. Summit topography records the former presence of an C18th smallpox isolation unit.Smudge14/02/2015
Walked here from Cam Long Down. Up and down the permissive path which begins near the pet holiday home to the NE. The summit is marked by a large sycamore and, nearby, an unusual sycamore avenue where I met a handsome fox. Fine hill. Returned to the carpark to W of Cam Long Down following first the road and then a long straight path over wet slippery ground.Herbert Anchovy14/01/2015
With Pam Thorne from the north. Very grand tree probably an oak on summit plus an avenue of trees to the south.vegibagger03/01/2015
