A cloudy showery afternoon. Sonja and I parked on the lane south of Bullshill Spinney then we followed the signposted footpath uphill. The summit field is more or less flat with the trig pillar half-hidden in the hedge on the south side of the field.Skip01/11/2020

6th hill of 10 today on a leisurely drive and explore day from Nottingham with my girlfriend as driver, with the aim of getting my yearly tump total to 500 for the year. We visited Naseby hill, Honey Hill, Ashby Grange Hill, Borough Hill and Newnham Hill, passing through Newnham to park just North of Bullshill Farm. I took the footpath up beside Bullshill spinney then took vehicle tracks to diagonally walk through the field at the top leading to the Trig pillar, recording 178m in between the fields about 1m away @ SP 58114 57612 but adjacent field to the West looked just as high if not higher and i recorded 182m @ SP 57953 57578 before stepping across back into the Trig pillar field, re-tracing my steps back to the car....next hill: Waydale Hill.Dazingdale30/10/2017

Parked to west next to the Capability Brown designed 200 acre grounds of 16th Century Fawsey Hall. (private grounds -please respect said the sign-luckily no TuMP in there). Sold in 2013 for £15 Million its now a luxury hotel and spa . For £495 a night you can sleep in the bed once used (allegedly) by Elizabeth I. Or for no cost at all you can put your wellies on and have a pleasant walk up to and across a ploughed field to this trig summit, where no royal has gone before, or if they have, some minion must have got a very muddy cloak putting it down for them to walk on.Chris Pearson23/03/2017
Path from Bullshill farm, another level summit. And again on:- 28-02-2021,RichardM16/02/2017

From road to W. crossed ragged weed infested crop to find trig in hedgerowGordonAdshead08/07/2016
Have walked and ran over this hill on numerous occasions. This, though, the first visit to the trig point. Circular walk from Fawsley Church, past Westcombe Farm, returning by Bullshill Farm, Badby Woods and the Knightly Way. Cold, clear weather with the fields on the top in stubble, making for pleasant walking.JohnW07/03/2016
Parked opposite Bullshill Farm, through farmyard (a few chickens) and past house up clearly marked footpath to TP. Friendly resident met on way down.Campbell Singer18/02/2016
