Drive up and step out. Last of 7 on way to Barnet for FA Trophy replay. Let's hope it's not postponed 2 minutes before kick off this week.Bramley28/01/2020
Quick evening visit from Aston Rowant office to the Avery’s. Roadside outside houses.Herbert Anchovy22/01/2020
Near telegraph pole outside Greenwood, I reckon. Rewarded by view of low flying kite in field opposite.maclrc08/01/2020
On a 4.6 mile walk: Lane End- Widdenton Park Hill- Moor End- Frieth Hill- Mousell's Wood- Fining Wood- Lane End. The HP is almost a drive over (the verge being higher). This section of the walk is by far the best, with Fining Wood being a good beech wood. Part sunny, autumn colours.pwheeler18/11/2019
2nd and final tump on my 50th birthday after a day exploring Cliveden gardens with my family and Lesley. Parked on verge between 2 houses then walked up onto bank, recording 180m near telegraph pole, slightly lower elsewhere. Easy bag before the long drive back to Nottingham.Dazingdale17/08/2019
Very straightforward, except that I did have to walk to the highest point as an ambulance was blocking the narrow road lower down.JohnW30/03/2019
Along Spurgrove Lane, took reading on banking/verge outside Greenwood. Outside Mijenin looked similar height.Aye Jimmy09/09/2018

Early morning, still dark. From the little I could see, looked rather ordinary First of a big day of 19 Bucks Tumps.Campbell Singer09/12/2017
Very pleasant circular walk with my family from limited roadside parking at church in Fingest via Little Frieth, Frieth, Hatchett Woods & Skirmett. Gorgeous weather, great views from the route up. Shame the top itself is a bit cack, but did at least see a fox in the woods nearby.wheresthepath11/06/2017
A quick 'ascent' over the fence into the paddock to the E of the footpath. Road certainly lower. Parking in the bridleway just tot he W of the HP.DanMaisieBex02/10/2016
Nondescript roadside top in AONB. Wife drove - got out and wandered up the road a bit - job done. Had to go and have lunch and a couple of pints at the Bull & Butcher in Turville to recover.milimana11/06/2016

Grass verge N side road. Had a look at field S of hedgerow, difficult to determine if it was higher; on balance probably not.jonglew04/12/2015

As I approached this roadside top i gave way to a gang of runners (training on the route of the hilly Frieth 10k held in October) and then gave way to a gang of cyclists on the hill climb up as I left. During the Second World War Frieth was home to King Zog of Albania who lived at Parmoor House with his wife, sisters, nephews and nieces. The King also had a group of bodyguards who lived nearby and some Ministers who lived at Lane End. After the war they left to go to Egypt but one nephew stayed in Frieth.(wiki)Chris Pearson14/06/2015
