Parked in the ski centre car park. Just 2 skiers out on the slope. Top of the ski slope looks as if built up to lengthen an already short looking run. But anyway... tick. Solo | richard69 | 12/01/2024 |
1 of 6 startin on 26 mile bike ride starting on kavanaghs road in Brentwood. Over fence to top of ski slope | The-Z-Man | 18/12/2022 |
Parked on minor road to the west, south of the hospital. A quick walk back along the road and up through unfenced strip of woodland to the top of the ski slope. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 08/02/2022 |

By Ford building | CreakingHiker | 05/11/2019 |
The back of the top of ski-slope at the Activity Centre has it for me. Slightly higher at front edge but what's under the ski mat? Ford area didn't seem as high. | Aye Jimmy | 11/08/2019 |
Ford building C.P; raining. With K,J and M. | The Captain | 12/03/2019 |
Visited top by dry ski slope and small grass area by front of Ford building. Exciting stuff. | PeterD | 12/04/2018 |
There is a raised bit of road at the back of the Ford Building which is higher but it looks like a man made ramp. Settled for the front lawn or the ramp up to reception. Managed to get away without the BMW being sabotaged by Ford loyalists. | Campbell Singer | 22/02/2018 |
7/7 Urban tops on a rainy and sleety afternoon. | rhalstead | 21/01/2018 |
Parked by Ford Building. Walk round likely points. | Bramley | 17/11/2017 |

Parked by Ford Buildings then walked around to bag the top of the ski slope. | Dugswell2 | 05/03/2017 |
6th of 19 tops today to finish off Essex and London hills. Couple of possible tops here within the 2 115m contours. Let's plump for... one or the other! | jonglew | 06/02/2017 |
I agree front lawn of Ford building seems to be the top. This was part of a circuit of 3 tumps by bike from Gidea Park station | trimarc2 | 05/09/2015 |
Walked along the road to the summit by the Ford offices. | Alancache | 29/07/2015 |
Parked by Fords building, walked down hill to north west to 85m contour , and reascended to walk round to all high points. I think highest point is path by road near reservoir and mast, but it's all very flat, Fords grass seemed as high. | pdantic | 06/07/2015 |
Ford HQ! | Brodie | 07/04/2015 |
Bizarre. Night visit to trees at top of dry ski slope which was brightly illuminated but nobody using it. | Chris Pearson | 11/03/2015 |
Billericay to Brentwood. | Smudge | 08/02/2015 |
Revisited while in area as seem to be a few new summits since last visit. 1) 115m spot height (Wooded summit in Activity Centre grounds which nowadays sports a ski slope, TQ 59009 91344) seems most likely highpoint (and fits the name being scrubby and a hill), 2) also visited Ford front lawn TQ 59422 91501 and 3) TA Centre fenceline at back of mast (1m mound, TQ 59127 91467). 4) last candidate is covered resr which is c.3m high and obviously artificial - didn't summit this. | RHW | 06/12/2014 |
All pretty flat. Current location 593915 (grass at front of Fords) is a good few hundred metres from the radio mast. Tricky to tell where the true summit is. | destaylor | 04/03/2014 |
