Chanced it and left the car in the passing place by the huge tree stump on the road to the NW. Up and down again in about 3 minutes.Wheelsy20/08/2022

Parked in field entrance on nth side of road junction. (There are 3 metallised field entrances to choose from). Crossed road and accessed from Gallowhill Lane. Up a low bank and under trees to trig-point.Meanderer20/11/2020

Parked near road junction. Lots of nettles and brambles at the top. Trig reasonably clear.PGCE27/05/2020
4th Tump of 6 today, after visiting Knights Hill, Mount Hill and Egmere. I took the wrong lane at first so had to drive back round and parked up in small passing place on minor lane. Easy push through to round ditch and arrive at other side. Got the customary scratches from the brambles as I stepped through them to the top. Trig pillar is easy access between scattered trees. I couldnt turn the car round on lane so had to drive down Gallowhill lane. Perhaps Gallowhill lane and Pigg's Grave are connected? Onwards to Poringland Heath...Dazingdale22/02/2020
Online Info re the reason for its odd name are all spurious possibilities like an episode of Call my Bluff. Take your pick from 1. An outbreak of swine fever nearby. 2. There was a highwayman called Pigg who was hung and burried here. 3.A Mr Pigg was murdered and burried here.4. No one knows.Chris Pearson22/04/2019
Parked as others in gateway on road opposite. Scrubby field with path of sorts to trig. Top somewhere close by.Bramley11/04/2019
From Gallowhill Lane to NW couldn't park in lane by wood because of fly tipped asbestos so used layby few metres N of crossroads. Best take a brush cutter if you want to check which bramble patch is highest.rogreeves06/11/2018
Solo. No access problems.Dangerous Dave13/10/2018
Parked as others, across main road junctions then along minor road and easily up to HP and trig.PeterD13/04/2018
Hidden and unexpected clearing within wide brambly field boundary by lone pine and trig - with geocache. Accessed through weedy field.Easy roadside parking.Denise 09/12/2017
I liked this one, a pleasant area of grass and trig amongst oaks and an almost lone pine. Easy access from unfenced fallow field.RichardM09/12/2017
Parked as mart0797, crossed busy road and into wood with summer vegetation. Trig first then trampled through brambly patch to N.Aye Jimmy27/09/2017
Parked in large gate entrance on B1110 on north side of B1354.mart079728/08/2017
Parked in field entrance on opposite side of crossroads. Short walk through field to trig. Hard to tell exact location of top due to dense undergrowth.Ramblingpaul11/05/2017

Tricky one. Parked in lane hard over to one side, stepping out into the nettles. The top appears to be a mound of bramble in the wooded area at the corner of the field. Probably best visited in the late autumn when everything has died back. With MikeOne man Bucket 23/07/2016

Tucked away only a few mts from the very minor road. Muddy pull in very convenient. Could be overgrown with brambles in the summer.Campbell Singer16/03/2016
Parked as per GA. Small scrubby wooded area surrounded on 3 sides by arable farmland and fourth side by the lane. Trig is probably the HP, but seemed an area of high bramble approx 30m N of the pillar was higher. It gave me a 1m greater elevation reading, as well as some scratches.jonglew23/01/2016
