Parked in Golf Course car park followed by short walk to top. Permission readily given.Ramblingpaul02/10/2018
Cycled from Nottingham. Up-market steps between houses at end of Woodlands Close lead to common and edge of golf course. Not a golfer is sight so easily over to the landscaped grassy mound near red and white pole on the large expanse of level summit. Convenient seat on the common where I enjoyed lunch.RichardM19/03/2018
Parked near crossroads to W and took RoW up side of golf course. At highest point hopped through the broken fence and wandered around visiting various possible high points. Still a few golfers about despite the fact it was chucking it down.Wheelsy05/01/2018
Parked on Woodland Close. RoW up onto golf course. With Carole Engel.jonglew28/12/2017

Up Woodside Rd, turn right along Blakeney Rd and then into Woodland Close. Footpath with steps onto common land at end of Woodland Close. Summit just on edge of golf course across broken fence.Barbara Singer31/01/2016
From Woodland Close to north of TuMP, up brand new and excellent steps, straight ahead across common and 50 metres onto golf course. Several points as contenders for hp. Sunday afternoon heavy drizzle. No golfers.Campbell Singer31/01/2016
1st of two hills today with Lexi Rue, my 7 Labradoodle. We took a bus into Nottingham, followed by another to Radcliffe upon Trent. We walked up Cropwell road and then took the 1st footpath heading up. We climbed through the wilder vegetation separating the lower and higher footpaths and then i climbed onto the golf course making my way to a mound near a drainage trench. Nowhere looked higher but we continued to the end before heading over to the fence to climb back over where i found the path down to the estate. We then waited for the next Bingham bus and took it.Dazingdale16/11/2015
Couldn't find a way out of housing estates to N or W. So drove up to the golf club, parked and walked across course to the summit. Lot of golfers but no-one on the summit side, maybe it was too windy?Aye Jimmy12/05/2015
As Adrian. Snaked up housing estate to park in road where steps lead up to the plateau. Lovely orange setting sun at the end of a 9-Tump day. One and a half hours home to finish the 240 mile day.GordonAdshead06/02/2015
In the snow, no-one was playing golf, so took advantage of this to leave footpath and stand on every bunker until I was satisfied a high point had been reached.DanHolme27/12/2014
