With Jo, linear walk from Shipley Bridge: tramway to Quickbeam Hill, then mainly tracks to Ugborough Moor and Ugborough Beacon [two tops]. Then on permissive path across Wrangaton Golf Course before footpath past Moorhaven Village to Bittaford. Weather; generally sunny, hot, good visibility. Cool breeze later in day.amblerbob16/09/2020

Absolutely huge pile of stones- This must ahve been a busy place in the bronze age and the effort involved-possibly over a long period of time- must have been massive. Trig is lower than the highest pile. Rough track along ridgeline from Quickbeam hill, then easy descent to carpark at Harford in sticky heat.Denise 18/06/2017

Parking at Shipley Bridge. Easiest route is to take in Quickbeam Hill first as the path off Ugborough is easier in descent.moorsman23/08/2014

My last hill climbed from the Two moors way, On this leg I walked from Widecombe in the moor to Ivybridge. And managed to leave my map case near Hangershell rock. I had climbed Quickbeam from the tramway and now I left my rucksack near some old workings and sheep and headed off up past what looked like old fortifications. The rocks on this hill look so clean and new and yet they have been in place for hundreds of years. I visited all three cairns. The trig poing being next to the middle of the three and lower than the cairn walls. The amount of rock used to construct the barrows is amazing!! You have to be careful on the descent and ascent as there are many hollows to negotiate probably caused by tin mining activity.Dazingdale26/03/2014

4 hr 4 top circuit in rain. From Quickbeam 4 km run along the flooded railway track to Ugborough Moor (Darren using his GPS) only slightly awkward river crossing (not a torrent as feared) then steeply up to big cairn on Stalldown BarrowChris Pearson11/08/2010
