Waited for tide to ebb enough - c 45 mins before very low tide - exciting - lovely rocky - 20 mins to cross and return. with Adrian R and Richard TThearlaichdubh02/07/2022
Crossed the boulders at low tide using kahtoolas kindly loaned by Norman W. Nice rocky island.Adrian02/07/2022
3rd of Bryher hills on walk around island in rain. Had to wait for tide to drop sufficiently. Rock slippery. Gulls on summit perch.PeterD27/06/2017
Easily crossed on foot at LW-1, then scramble over large boulders. Bit smelly ( guano). Eastern outcrop slightly higher.Denise 19/07/2016
Easy crossing on rocks at W side of channel HW-1. Easily up to rocky high point, East block highest.RichardM19/07/2016
Outcrop, from Bryher path leads down towards E end of channel; head L to far W end of channel where easy boulders lead to island. At low spring tide about 1hr either side and 0.3m leeway ie needs pretty low tide. Little bird activity at time of visit although technically restricted til end AugRHW05/07/2016

Bagged at 12:20 with low tide around 12:30 today.Dugswell205/07/2016
A fine multi hill day cruising with the Kestrel and good bagging folk. Easy landing on rocks to SE then scramble up to top.nordicstar05/07/2016
Stomped up to N end of Bryher after long landing process at low tide drop off point at southern tip. Followed RHW to cross the fissure close to low tide time via firm boulders (those on NE side looked slippery).Smudge05/07/2016
The most northerly and definitely most dramatic of Bryher's 4 tumps. Technically a tidal island, Shipman Head is separated from Bryher by a deep fissure approx 4m wide, that can only be crossed (without swimming) near to low tide. An easy scramble over and up the rocks to the guano coated summit rock.jonglew14/09/2014
