| From the NT car park at end of minor road. Good path down to rocks. Had to wade calf deep to get to base of the stack as losing daylight. Very exposed scramble up North face on stable but greasy rock, took the less steep NW face down, but required a mid-thigh wade. The descent route is an easier ascent if tide is low enough. Insufficient light to attempt Gull Rock - not sure I would have anyway, top section looked daunting. | jonglew | 18/10/2018 |
| This was a fun one. Took a steep and direct route off the beach in the NE corner of the island as the tide hadn't retreated enough to go up the easier looking route slightly further to the west. Also visited the lower western summit which required use of much smaller holds but no problems. | NT car park. Seems plenty time either side of low tide, I was there 1hr before low spring. From beach, up E face, obvious line rising R to L, easy angle but smallish holds and not good friction. Outcrop summit. Summit to W (separate island?) 2-3m lower. Scrambled down SE corner, steeper but better holds. Then to Gull Rock. | RHW | 07/07/2016 |

| Done this a few times while on holiday in the area and used two routes from the sandbank connecting it to the mainland - there's a broad gentle gully on the right or a narrow ascending ledge on the right which lead up to grass slopes to the top. Getting down is less fun. Kynance Cove must be one of the most dramatic beaches in England. | Jake994 | 05/08/2006 |
