From large car park at SS 96875 28488. Diary extract: Unlike our last hill, there was a large civilised car park for the start of the ascent of Hadborough. The rain seemed to have kept most of the dog walkers at home but there were still a couple of grim-deathers. The track heading uphill from the car park was like a river. And I mean a real river with proper tributaries and stuff. We splashed through the shallow fast flowing water leaving it after about 600 metres for a path to the trig pillar. The highest point was a small cairn 15m north of the trig. | David Gradwell | 27/10/2011 |
