Quick run up from the main road. Was a bit of hail on the ground temperature was only 3c. Saw a couple of pheasants. Views weren’t too bad. Time taken 8 minutes for 0.65 miles. | isabelle | 23/03/2024 |
Run up from Wells. Biddlecombe was a bramble/nettle/bog hellhole I am not running up there again. Ruined my trainers. | isabelle | 17/12/2023 |
Quick walk up from the A39 lay-by. It was snowy 3-4 inches with some deeper drifts. No views as cloud was down. It was cold and drizzly. Saw a Pheasant and as we came back down some people sledging. Time taken 18 minutes for 0.85 miles | isabelle | 08/03/2023 |
Lovely sunset | isabelle | 31/07/2022 |
Parked in layby on A39. Lots of GOML signs, but ignored the ROW before crossing fence and going straight up the track (in full sight of main road). It's only a cow field, after all. The mast area is altogether more private and heavily-protected, but that area is all clearly lower than the trig point. | Pete R | 21/07/2022 |
Second visit. Parked at top of A39 hill north of Wells. Curving tarmac road up to the tv mast but I decided to take off my people crocs and walk up the grassy field in bare feet. Little devil on my shoulder kept suggesting exploring textural experience of squelching through a couple of fresh cow pats. The angel on my other shoulder suggested I resist this temptation! The angel won. Trig pillar on summit S1515. Made air dry clay impression of trig FB | vegibagger | 01/08/2021 |

Run up Biddle Combe from Morrison’s in Wells. The Combe was muddy and in the lower reaches nettle infested, which meant running in shorts was painful. Summit was above the fog. Saw hundreds of Pheasants, Jays Magpies and Grey Squirrels. Time 1 hour 11 minutes for 7.31 miles. | isabelle | 23/10/2019 |

Myself and daughter Izzy ran up via Biddle Combe on a sunny winters day. The Combe was muddy and in places the path was covered by a stream. We didn’t see anyone else outside. Good views from the summit and still a few tiny patches of snow from 31st Jan. We saw a Squirrel and a Raven and heard but didn’t see plenty of Jays. Time taken 75 minutes for 6.5 miles. | isabelle | 10/02/2019 |

Layby alongside the road junction with a convenient signposts pointing over a stile into the field. By judiciously using the stile you can accidentally wander off the footpath up to the summit. | moorsman | 28/06/2017 |
