| 11th annual summer visit in a row to the Amerdown centre just to the north, whose ostentatious folly monument lies on the 180m contour ring. If coming from the A362 road down W on the little yellow rd on the 1.50k from Buckland down, there are various minor pull off options on left and right bfore road slips downhill. on left,south side just before it goes down hill there's a gate one can climb and back 200m in the field of long grass to the slightly elevated northern side of the faint tumulus ring which I feel could be the highest point of this very flat area. | vegibagger | 01/08/2014 |
