Taunton bus station - Staple Hill (via Cotlake Hill, Poundisford and Adcombe Hill) - Orchard Wood - back to Taunton.Mark Jackson11/01/2020
Small Car Park at the start of the BW to the West. Took BW to the south of the wood then another path up through the wood to the top.fosal2927/09/2019
Approached from Netherclay Lane- not possible to park at end of lane ( stables and horses) but is space to park at junction with main road to E. Initially on a FC path then up through open trees to indistinct HP in flattish area. Lovely sunny clear dayDenise 27/01/2019
Park on verge at start of Netherclay lane, along lane past fields of horses then track into FC wood. Up through trees to levelish summit area of spindly oaks and coppiced hazel? No views. Cake and coffee in dappled sunshine. Earth bank of hill fort? on N side of summit area.RichardM27/01/2019
From NE, RoW and then FC track, from which an obvious track heads towards top. HP in trees and bluebells.PeterD13/05/2018
From ne as others, FC track then easy beeline NW to flattish summit in nice open deciduous woodlandRHW05/02/2017
From Netherclay Lane. RoW initially until it touched the woods, then took a direct line to top. A lot of fallen trees to negotiate, but not too bad. Scrubby deciduous woodland; flatish top, difficult to determine a definitive HP.jonglew10/02/2016
Used the FC track round the woods and then up a fairly overgrown track to summit from SW corner. Summit if very overgrown and difficult to identify but there is a distinct line of conifers at top and largest tree seems a good point.Poolton12306/09/2015
