Parked by All Saints church. Zigzag path up the hill, then through trees to summit. Returned via path which goes over summit. | PGCE | 19/02/2022 |
Pretty nondescript, plenty of ways to go up from All Saints Church, dog and I went off piste and just yomped up the overgrown paths to make it adventurous then zigzagged back down through the woods after, not much to look at but nice quiet woodland with plenty of paths to explore | lboutside | 11/09/2021 |
Walked up through woods from All Saints Church in the early hours after a night shift. Originally planned a circuit including Walton Castle and Dial Hill, but put off by heavy rain. | Tony J | 28/07/2021 |
Portishead to Clevedon Long Round | JazDisney | 28/03/2021 |
Afternoon walk from the Walton Pk hotel, Walton Castle, Walton Drove, Court Hill, Dial Hill then Church Hill via the sea front. The path from the castle to Walton village seemed to diverge later than shown on my Explorer map, I was helped with directions by friendly lady golfers. Walton Drove= a road walk section but very quiet. All in all, an interesting and pleasant leg of my walk with a surprisingly well-defined summit. Just followed the widest paths on the NW side to get down to All Saints. | pwheeler | 14/10/2020 |

Parking in the lane by the church to the West. Zig Zag tracks up to the top by a large Beech tree. Took a more direct route down. | fosal29 | 04/11/2019 |

Within well- used private woodland with apparent public access. HP by substantial Beech tree in ivy and beech leaf covered forest floor with no views. Round trip from Clevedon. Good to be walking here after driving past on M5 so many times. | Denise | 24/11/2017 |
Clevedon Court private woodland but apparently allowing public access with lots of paths and tracks. We approach from the E on bridge over M5 cutting and descend the steep W slope. High point in wood close to large Beech, floor carpetted in ivy (makes a pleasent change to bramble). | RichardM | 24/11/2017 |

Took the zigzag path from All Saint's Church. Found the summit beech which did indeed seem an obvious high point. | Herbert Anchovy | 05/10/2016 |

From E, after Tickenham Hill, good path crossing M5 then nice woodland. Agree summit by large beech. Viewpoint bench 1km ENE an alternative, probably only 93m. Driven thru this cutting many times, good to walk its summits | RHW | 23/04/2016 |
