From the car park north of the Megget Stone at NT 14338 20081. Followed a path up from the Megget Stone to a gate in the deer fence at NT 14423 21439. Then followed deer fence north, with summit accessed by another gate in the deer fence. After return to main ridge, took the path up to the summit of Broad Law. On descent, veered SSE past Porridge Cairn and to the top of Wylies Hill. A steep descent by sheeptracks brought us to the road, then following it west back to the cars. With AT and JT. 13.0km, with 600m of ascent. | Man of Kernow1 | 24/06/2023 |

Broad Law, Dollar Law circuit from Megget Reservoir. Plenty of fresh snow. | Geoff Briggs | 26/03/2023 |
From the reservoir car park. Up the road to Meggethead, then upon passing the last fence on the N side of the road followed this fence onto the open SE flank of Wylies Hill. From its summit a series of ATV/deer paths give good access to Broad Law. Down to the non-tops of Tods Knowe & Lamb Knowe, then doubled back to the col SE of Polmood Craig to get onto the FP up to Cramalt Craig. The nicest section of the walk was over to Dun Law, Fifescar Knowe & Dollar Law. Returned to Thief's Road, which helps with a quick walk to Notman Law. Then a fence line to Shielhope Head and Greenside Law, including its S Top. A contour round to Rig Head and finally Pykestone Brae. A steep grassy descent to the track below then a seemingly endless walk back along the road to the camper. 6hrs total. | summitter | 05/02/2023 |

Backpacking 3rd day | Adventurers5 | 14/09/2022 |
Parked at the first car park (when coming from Talla Reservoir) on the Megget Reservoir and walked back along the road to the Megget Stone, then up the fencline to Fan's Law. Where I met a new 6ft Deer fence, with a pedestrian gate (on the lines shown on OS explorer maps) decent path / sheep trail over to Talla Cleuch Head, through the new 6ft deer fence again to gain the actual summit. Then followed this back to Cairn Law and up to Broad Law itself (still the old 3ft stock fence along the shoulder). Some guys were working in the Radio Beacon, they had previously worked on the Lowther radar station aswell. Along the ridge with a decent drop and ascent to Cramalt Craig. Then southward to Clockmore, with a lot of heather bashing to decent back down to the car. Dry with occasional sun and high level cloud 05:05hrs all in. | chillyman8 | 31/08/2022 |
Parked at the cattle grid by the Megget Stone. Talla Cleuch Head (the deer fence is well-gated so it doesn't matter which side of it you're on), back to Cairn Law, Broad Law, Hunt Law, back to Cramalt Craig and finally Clockmore. Steep descent to the road and a lovely walk back to the car in the evening sun. | tsharp | 04/08/2022 |
Early start and a beautiful day, fairly steady up and down 7km in less than 2 hrs | Nicky C | 27/07/2022 |
With E. From Hearthstanes following track above Hearthstane Burn, through forest with extensive felling in progress, then across open moorland. Track in good condition but climb is relentless! Glad when the top of one of the comms towers came into view. Summit trig point is on far side of Radio Beacon Station. Dry day but a biting cold wind meant we didn't linger after taking in the extensive views. 2 hours to summit, 1.5 return, 11kms. | Beeliner | 30/04/2022 |
Up by Porridge Cairn from Wylies Hill. Solo. Revisit. | Dangerous Dave | 25/03/2022 |

With John - parked at Megget Reservoir car park and decided to do the clockwise loop of Broad Law, Cramalt Craig and Dollar Law. Head back along the road to Megget Stone (unimpressed), and then followed the faint path up to Broad Law. Cold and windy up top, but clouds disappeared so got quite warm. Patches of icy snow but mostly good underfoot conditions. Headed straight over to Cramalt Craig from the radio tower, gave is a quick tap and moved on to Dollar Law. From there we headed across to ther track down to Cramalt and the back along the road to the car park. Total time 5 hours on the dot (well, 5h 33seconds). | mproudfoot | 27/02/2022 |
From Megget Stone cattle grid (NT 1507 2030). Up to Talla Cleuch Head and Mathieside Cairn first then doubling back and up to here. On to Brown Knowe and Great Knock, picking up Wylies Hill on way down. Nice 10.6 mile round in wintery conditions. | jonglew | 11/02/2022 |
